Performances
Krump Nation is a certificate-based training and performance program by The Krump Dance Studios that uses contemporary movement to tell meaningful stories and create high-impact audience experiences.
The intensive program offers 9-Month, 6-Month, and 3-Month options, blending structured technical training, creative exploration, and live performance opportunities.
Participants undergo rigorous training in contemporary dance techniques while developing original solo and group works that are showcased on curated performance platforms. The program is designed to nurture discipline, creativity, collaboration, and professional growth within a dynamic artistic environment.
Students are mentored by Jemima Angulu alongside local and international choreographers, with guided study and performance development throughout the program.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a Krump Nation Training & Performance Certificate.

Contemporary Technique
Develop strong technical foundations in contemporary movement as a tool for artistic expression and storytelling.
Creative Development
Explore and strengthen your unique movement voice through guided improvisation, creative exercises, and performance tasks.
Choreography & Composition
Learn how to create compelling solo and group works that communicate emotion, narrative, and artistic intention.
Performance Preparation
Transform rehearsals into polished, stage-ready performances through intensive coaching, rehearsal discipline, and live presentation experience.
Storytelling Through Movement
Blend contemporary dance with African dance, Hip-hop, and Urban styles to create authentic and impactful performance experiences.
Professional Development
Build professional discipline through rehearsal ethics, teamwork, collaboration, communication, and performance etiquette.
Certification Requirements
At the end of the program, certificates will be awarded to students who successfully meet all of the following requirements:
Successful completion of assigned project work
A minimum of 90% class attendance throughout the program
Participation in at least six (6) studio performances or outreach programs

Who can join?
Anyone passionate about contemporary dance and storytelling.
What is the schedule?
Classes run Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10am to 2:30pm.
Are scholarships available?
Yes, a selected number of participants are chosen every year for scholarships. Students who receive scholarships must stay disciplined and committed.
Complete projects, attend 90% of classes, and perform six times.
How is certification earned?
Is Accommodation Provided?
Accommodation is not provided directly by The Krump Dance Studios. However, we can assist participants coming from other states or countries with accommodation arrangements and recommendations to help make their stay in Abuja more convenient and comfortable.

Can tuition fee be made in installments?
Yes. Depending on the program duration, payment arrangements can be made for students to pay their tuition fees in 2 or 3 installments. Flexible payment plans are available to support accessibility and convenience for participants.
